perhaps you could explain the theme a little more, instead of just showing an example? it might be helpful to the people who dont have english as a first language.

Ehm you might want to change the rules on your subsite.

<quote>The image must be a new photo. No exceptions. If you submitted it to your gallery after the beginning of this contest (Oct 10) the entry will not be accepted</quote>

It's supposed to be a new image, and if it is then it isn't accepted.
