Club Membership
As of now, we have 11 members in the group. That's not too bad, but the more the merrier! Here's some tips on how to do your part in increasing membership:

When you see a macro photograph, comment on it with your thoughts, but also comment that they should check out ~macrophoto and tell them a little about the club.
Add something in your journal about the club. Explain why you like it and why you joined and why other people should too.
When you come across a gallery with at least several macro photographs, leave a comment on thier userpage or send them a note telling them about the club.

We need more members! The more members we have, the more active and productive the club will be! So spread the word!

Requests
I'm hoping to make a tutorial here pretty soon. For the topic, I was thinking something along the lines of an intro to macro photography. Any ideas? Any requests? If there's a topic you would like to see covered, just send me a note and I'll get on it! If you have a tutorial you'd like to submit to the group, first submit it to your own account and send the club a link to it. Thanks!

DevID Contest!
Since we don't have a DevID yet, we should have a contest to get one.

Contest Rules
Restrictions You must be a member of the group to submit to the contest
Max size 400px wide by any height
Theme A Cold and Wintery macro photo. Not christmas, just the winter season.
Text The image must include the club's name, "Macro Photo", as either one or two words.
Deadline Monday January 30th - 8pm
Prizes With a donation from * QuiGonJediJinn, the selected winner will win a 1 month subscription!

To submit a piece for the contest, submit it to your own gallery and send ~ macrophoto a note with a link to the id submission.

Judging will take place after the submission deadline by members of the group.
