Hang on, are we making a DevID from photos from the gallery or our own photos? There aren't that many photos in the galkery that were submitted after July 12th.

Also, if we're using our own photos, do they have to have been submitted at all? I have a bunch of great photos I haven't submitted I could use.

your own photos. you go out and take a new picture for the contest. same as always.

Alright. Do we have to submit the photo we're using to our gallery first , then use it to make an ID?

you take a picture, submit it to your account (gallery or scraps is fine, the category is irrelevant), send a note according to the instructions on the contest page, and you're entered into the contest. simple as pie
